Day 0 : A propagandic film in India Part 1

I watched Kerala story recently. This my weak and feeble attempt to show people the reality of how it is propagandist, misleading and spreading lies. 1. False Narratives Lie No. 1 :-  32,000 girls were brainwashed, but according to source. 3 Hindu girls are shown in the movie to fall in love with Muslim men, get pregnant and got converted to get married. Facts :-  It only happened to 4 girls. (3 Hindu, 1 Christian) In December 2019, interviews of four women from Kerala – Nimisha alias Fathima Isa, Merin alias Mirriam, Sonia Sebastian alias Ayisha and Rafaella – were published under the title ‘Khorasan Files: The Journey of Indian Islamic State Widows’ by the website StratNewsGlobal. A lot of things in that movie, for example  Lies :- Connecting atheism (a lack of belief in god) with communism (rejecting all political ideologies) Facts :-  Atheism :- Disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods.  Look at the different religions people bel...

A response to the Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez drama you think I'm jealous because you can make your name without a man you think I got a fetish to copy you in any way I can From the clothes to the quotes to the tattoos to the boyfriend I can take his cash but I ain't the cheaper version You can make believe that you're a little miss perfect Pretend you're doing a good thing with your comments Replies and reels won't stay behind the curtain You think I won because I got the man But honey I will never be your fan I will never be your fan I will never be your fan Kill 'em with kindness The truth always hides the light No need for trying but I like to stay sober, right? You can make believe that you're a little miss perfect Pretend you're doing a good thing with your comments Replies and reels won't stay behind th...

How good people can treat you like trash for being a nobody

Its from Anurag's point of view. An ex colleague of mine  1) Everything has a motive :  Build good relationships with everyone. Gather as many as good relationships as possible. Try to gain information and knowledge about every topic they know of to make conversation.  But, getting only closer to those who they like, pleasing only those who can return the favor, impressing only the ones they care about, being a sweet talker to gain something from there, charming them to be in their good books.  My roommate loves hanging out and I am more of a homebody. She hates me for being this way and often criticises for my way of living. She gets close to people who have their own vehicles and love driving to new places, to see new things and looked down upon on me very harshly for not being this way.  She adopts their hobbies, their way of speaking, is ready to drink, stay out late nights, sleepovers at their place, agrees to every single thing they do, tries to reco...

My Three Stages of Growing up with Romance Anime

Image
The first one was idealized love.   My first romance anime was the famous Kaichou wa Maid-sama ! I was obsessed with it, the plot, the characters, the songs, the jokes. After completing the anime, wanting more, I found out about manga and read it all, still not being good enough, I procedeed to read fanfiction, and finding out anything that is similar to it.  They were couple goals for me, extremely good at everything, can take up any challenge and succeed at facing any obstacle, being ambitious, smart and supportive of each other despite belonging to completely different worlds!  But, slowly my interest waned and then I found another hidden gem, called "Kimi no Todoke" also known as "From Me to You". I started reading the manga and immediately fell in love with it.  The second one was " Pure Love ". It is about two ordinary people wanting to fit in the world around them and form good relationships with the world around them who become attracted to each o...

Top 5 things weird about Hampi

Image
  1. All businesses are illegal there.  Yup, you heard that correctly. None of them are liable to pay for the losses that occur to customers or the other shopkeepers there. There was a fire recently. Fire in Hampi, 5 shops turned to ashes One of them is a very well known hotel named Mango Tree, who has multiple outlets all over Karnataka. The problem is that it was built with the help of bamboo and sticks, a gas leak happened over there recently and there was huge blast as the cylinders exploded. A lot of neighbouring shops lost their homes and businesses, both at the same time, were completely devastated. They cannot sue the owner of the restaurant neither do they have any insurances to help them secure from such a tragedy.  2. Black Money is rampant After visitting the Durga Temple over there, while coming back we had lunch in a restaurant and went to one shop over there who were selling clothes, perfumes, sandalwood facepacks, as well as paintings, showcase items that ...

Quiet Firing - Company's reply to "Quiet Quitting"

Quiet Firing Recently, there has been a trend of "Quiet Quitting" which basically, according to a Google Search says,  "E mployees work within defined work hours  and engage solely in activities within those hours.  D oing precisely what the job requires." This term seems to have especially seemed to crop up more and more in newspaper articles and internet blogs ever since the pandemic. Previously, it may been collocated due to "work pressure", "burn-out", due to putting in extra work hours to get the job done, which emerged as a silent protest against this.  But, what many people noticed along with it is the massive number of lay-offs and cost cutting measures that the organizations have seemed to take increase their profits and remove employees who they probably deemed as "not good enough" resources to keep on the company pay-roll.  I am not only talking about the MNCs and businesses that are doing this but also almost all SMEs are p...

The Office - The best offensive sitcom ever!

The title comes off as no surprise that I am "The Office" fan. The best thing about sitcoms have always been comedy from "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" to "The Big Ban Theory", even cartoons like "The Simpsons" to "Rick and Morty". All of them have weird, wild characters, an engaging, bumpy plot and aim to make the audience laugh with it's humorous jokes, gags etc.  I recently stumbled upon "The Office" and realised it uses pranks, dumb, weird, sexual dialogues or creative insults to make people engage with it. Sometimes even as far as to go and offend not only the circustances of that person or a particular class, race, gender or sexual orientation. The cherry on the top is that it has purposely done it through characters who are unaware of how offensive or sensitive it is supposed to be which either makes us forgive the person or be amused even further at the person who does it.  The bottomline of my love for "The Office" co...
