The Office - The best offensive sitcom ever!

The title comes off as no surprise that I am "The Office" fan. The best thing about sitcoms have always been comedy from "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" to "The Big Ban Theory", even cartoons like "The Simpsons" to "Rick and Morty". All of them have weird, wild characters, an engaging, bumpy plot and aim to make the audience laugh with it's humorous jokes, gags etc.

I recently stumbled upon "The Office" and realised it uses pranks, dumb, weird, sexual dialogues or creative insults to make people engage with it. Sometimes even as far as to go and offend not only the circustances of that person or a particular class, race, gender or sexual orientation. The cherry on the top is that it has purposely done it through characters who are unaware of how offensive or sensitive it is supposed to be which either makes us forgive the person or be amused even further at the person who does it.

The bottomline of my love for "The Office" comes from the fact how far it can go to make a joke or how it can make seemingly light of situations that would actually be considered quite serious in the real world.

For e.g.

Halloween costumes and pranks

The episode where Michael fake-suicides in front of a bunch of kids during Halloween.

The Office - Diversity Day - Race

Where Michael assigns different ethnicities to everyone and brings out their cruel past or worst steretoypes.

The Office Sales Ethics - Offensive Slurs

P.s I wish they would have given it a shot just to roast him or Pam. Lmao xD
